Not UV and Cold Tolerant

Bought 4 back in December 2023. I live in Northern Virginia. We out early in the morning to recycle items and the handle cracked. It was at or near freezing. Then Spring came. It rained. Falls Apart

Avoid this like the plague. This recycle bin won't last and disintegrates on its own with minimal outdoor exposure. We left it outside for a few days and the rain destroyed it.

I needed to replace my recycling bin and there it was and the price was right.

Almost Single Use

Having owned several of the required style recycle containers like this one (BlueHawk) made, I can say the quality is the pits. It's gone from bad to worse and after only a few time using them, the lid and handles begin to break. Either the material composition or manufacturing process seems off now. The can and lid are very brittle and crack in normal use. The mfg doesn't seem to care, as they won't respond to emails, and worse yet, the lids aren't available apart from the can. Hate ...

Falls Apart

I purchased two of these because my recycle bins are too small to hold all my recyclables for a family of 5. Within 8 months of outdoor use, the plastic was fatigued and brittle with the handles having broken off, the lid broken in a dozen pieces, several chunks have fallen off in various places, large cracks in the bottom, etc. Add insult to injury, I bought these a couple years ago for $18 each. Absolute garbage

If you’re looking for a trashcan to put leaves, and Pine needles in, this is probably your pick, but if you’re looking to put anything heavier in it, like actual trash, don’t waste your money. Spend a few more bucks and get one of the Rubbermaid or Brute cans. Just bought mine less than 2 mos ago and already both lids are ripped. Trashy quality. Pun intended.

Complete trash

This bin is trash. I purchased it in June to replace another I had for over 15 years. This thing cracked up and got holes in it in less than 6 months! I don’t write a lot of reviews but felt so strongly about this, I just had to. Save your money and get another brand or buy elsewhere.

DONT DO IT

Bought these for storing feed bags, hoping to keep the mice out. But after a few months, the lids shatter. Went in to see about buying new lids and they're not sold separately. The cans themselves are holding up great, just the lids are crap. I talked to the manager about it and they recommended contacting the manufacturer, but good luck finding the info on who actually makes these. I dont need 3 more trash cans, I just need 3 more lids :(
