Easiest diy update ever!
Would RecommendLove this modern mailbox. The post was so easy to install over our old wooden post. The box feels sturdy and the magnet closure is a plus. The clean, readable font of the magnetic numbers makes it easier for guests to find our house.

Would RecommendThis is my 5th mailbox since I bought my house in the 1990's. I bet it's the last. Great looking product with equal building quality! I do have the metal base and bolts with lock washers that I didn't need to use and would like to send it back for someone else's needs. Thank you for this!

Beautiful & High Quality Product 2 yrs Later
Would RecommendWe've had this Large MALONE wood door mailbox for just over 2 years now. It sits at the end of our one mile long gravel driveway on our Walnut Orchard. My USPS driver us so grateful because the majority of our packages and mail for our farming operations fit in the mailbox and she no longer has to make the almost 2 mi round-trip drive to deliver our packages. We happy that our items are dry and clean. We've had two really wet winters and summer temps range 95°-105°. The magnetic numbers have h...

Easy installation and gorgeous mailbox and post
Would RecommendThe installation was very straightforward and the mailbox looks beautiful. I do wish the numbers were permanently attached instead of with magnets though.

Small adjustments would make it better
So while the fact that this took a little over 6 weeks to get to me (no back order on this product listing, but apparently was/is back ordered by "3" weeks...) with no communication until after I inquired a month after purchase, that isn't why I gave three stars. The mailbox I received is not centered. With the price, I would expect it to be centered. Additionally, while the magnet holding the door closed is very strong, it is too strong for where the handle is placed. It should either be a slig...

Beast of a mailbox!
Would RecommendThis thing is solid. Can’t wait to see how the patina starts to develop. My post is special so needed to make custom bracket but it is now installed and not going anyway. Thank you for making such a great product!

Nice box and post, cheap door
Would Not RecommendThe box and post look good, but the door feels cheap. The magnet is not strong and surely will blow open if any weather rolls through. Not only do the hinges feel flimsy, but they allow for the dangle swing to add more stress to the hinges. It is not a cheap box and certainly looks better than others, but I expect to have to buy a new one every few years. I do not expect the postal workers to value and be gentle with the door and hinges to preserve our home improvement project of mine. Simp...

Definite upgrade
Would RecommendWe ordered the patina color mailbox. I have to say it was a great purchase. Fairly easy install. Most importantly, wifey loves it. She could not be happier. Anxious to see how the patina weathers over time, hopefully sooner than later. Definitely a significant upgrade over our old box and really a nice improvement to our curb appeal. Thank you very much. And to think it was just a recommendation online.
