Ratings & Reviews for Pit Boss 1100 Pro Series 1,260 Sq in. Gray Liquid propane Combo Grill

Great smoker, not so great gas grill

I love the pellet smoker side of this grill. The gas side not so much. After three years, the componets inside the gas grill have totally corroded away and parts don't seem to be available to fix it. when Iwent to replace the burner units I discovered this. The metal parts that support the heat diffusers are totallly rusted away. Very disappointing.

Years of Use!

I don’t normally write reviews but I’m sitting here smokin ribs and thought it was worth the time. I’ve had this Pot Boss for almost 5 years now and it is still as beautiful and functional as the day I bought it. Obviously care is required to keep it this long, but it was built so well. I’ve spent hundreds of hours with this grill and it’s never disappointed. Great for a hot summer day when you don’t want to cook in the house, the side burner is a secret weapon. Recommend to anyone that wants a ...

Lowe’s Service Was Miserable

Not a reflection of the Pit Boss, but Lowe’s service. This order was originally scheduled to be assembled and delivered to my home on 4/15. The morning of, I received an email that the delivery was rescheduled, after calling multiple times to find out why it was rescheduled, I was told it had not been assembled yet. I told the representative that I did not have anybody available to accept the delivery on the new delivery date of 4/22 and that I would come to the store and pick up the grill unass...

Great smoker for beginners and experienced griller

I’ve been really impressed with this grill. It solved the problem of wanting a smoker that’s easy to use but still produces great flavor. Assembly was straightforward and the build quality feels sturdy and well made. The temperature control has been very consistent, which makes longer cooks much easier. I’ve used it for ribs and chicken so far and the smoke flavor has been excellent. The cooking space is also large enough to cook for family or when having friends over. What I like most is the ...

Propane Side Lacking Heat

Propane Side Not Hot

propane side of the barbecue is very difficult to get over 350° and takes all three burners to get it there after 20 minutes. add a smoker size works great at the propane side is terrible. can you use propane much I wouldn't buy this unit.

Good grill works well

Everything looks good, i had hoped for seals around the opening like the other pit boss grills, works well so far blue tooth did not connect, going to try again. Overall nice grill especially for the discounted cost

Love it

I like the build quality, the functional design and how well it performs. I love this grill!

Smoker, Pellet Griller, Propane...

I've water to break away from propane grilling but I wasn't sure that wouldn't turn into a disaster so the Pit Boss 1100 was a safe bet. I have done a Christmas ham, pork spare ribs and beef ribs. All were delicious. There's a college library of videos to learn from so low and slow isn't as scary as I had feared. The Pit Boss is excellent quality and does the job of 3. I couldn't be happier. If you're ready to up your culinary game the Pit Boss 1100 Combo is for you.

Future master of smoked meat.

Everything has worked well. Happy with this new addition to our patio.

Not worth the hassle

I ordered this from Lowes with the assembly and delivery included. The assembly people didn't show up for days- so the delivery was pushed back. I finally received the product and it wasn't built correctly AND its missing pieces! Pieces that are very obvious to anyone they are missing. This entire experience was so horrid I am not sure I will ever order from lowes! I will also be returning the product due to it missing pieces! As im told that there's nothing Lowes or the assembly people will do ...

Do NOT have them assemble

It was assembled improperly and I am still waiting for Lowes to call me back to fix this three days later. As it was assembled it's totally unusable: the bottom was backwards and multiple screws and washers were missing. Most of the rest of the bolts were only tightened by hand.

Excellent Customer Service

Not many combo gas/wood pellet grills out there - this one fits the bill and is priced well. My biggest kudos go to Front Cashier Supervisor Michelle at the North Little Rock Lowe's. There was a rolling delay in delivery and she stepped up to the plate - located my assembled grill "in the back" and made sure it was on the next scheduled delivery. Well done, Michelle!

Good to Great, with some intermittent issues

Overview: I've been using this for about 6 months and so far I have to say I'm really pleased with its smoke performance. Temperatures are consistent, the dampers do a nice job of regulating the amount of smoke, and the propane grill functions exactly how you would expect. Pros: The Pit Boss App makes managing your smoke pretty easy with 2 temperature probes, and pretty good manual temperature control in 10 degree increments. The various components are easy enough to pull out and clean without ...

Smoker gives a great smoke ring and gas side heats

love the duel option, propane or pellet smoker all in one.

Unfortunate that it wasn’t built correctly by Lowe

The product is fine but the Lowe’s assembly was terrible! They built it wrong! The two things designed to hold the tank were wrong! This is after the delay in delivery without any advance notice. I was home at the appointed and confirmed time but they didn’t show up. I looked only be and found that it had been delayed for two days. It would have been nice if someone had told me before the delivery window.
