Horrible new formula

Bring back the old original!! Triple care is terrible for breakout prone skin. I have used persil for years because it was all my skin could tolerate AND get grease out of my husband's clothes. Now my laundry still has dirt on them, smells musty, feels coated AND my skin has a terrible rash from the new fragrances.

Did you change the scent?

The scent of Triple Care is unpleasant. Have you changed the formula?

Bring back the Original Scent

I have used Persil for close over 7 years now. And recently have noticed a change in the scent. I thought I picked up the wrong bottle at the store so decided to just use it up and make sure I looked at the bottle better next time. Two of my favorite products have recently had their scent changed. WHY?! The shift to overly perfumed is giving me an actual headache. Bring back the original scent, please.

Persil- making history since 1907

Discovered Persil after reading its very high ratings iiin a Consumer Reports like article on laundry detergents.. As a senior lady who has over 50+ years of doing laundry starting on a scrub board and wringer washer using a number of powdered detergents and scrubbing until until knuckles were sore, what a delight to use very little liquid detergent to the washer to get incredible results!

Triple Care all the way

I have used Persil for a few years and just recently tried the triple care liquid and I love it. I actually like the smell of the triple care detergent and have read that there are people who do not care for the smell but to each their own. This is the only detergent that got rid of pet stains that another big name detergent could not. I will continue to use it.

Why mess with something that was already great!

The new ( original) triple care formula smells horrible. I’ve been using Persil for well over 10 years and will now be looking at other detergents. I highly suggest persil goes on and looks at sites such as Reddit to see how many customers are actually unhappy with the smell of this new formula.

What happened?!

Long time Persil Original user (15+ years). This new formula smells worse than sour clothes! I can’t stand to be around it! I kept wondering why everything suddenly smelled sour and like fake fruity body spray— someone else said porta potty, and YEAH I can definitely see the comparison to a urinal cake. This is awful. The clothes aren’t clean and the smell has driven me away. What HAPPENED?!!!?!? Persil used to be the freshest, cleanest smelling product on the market!!!

New "Original" = No Thanks!

Why mess with the "Original" formulation? .... sigh, obviously your test group lacks working noses. Shoot me an email when the genius who did this realizes the mistake and brings back the true "Original"

Quality does down while the price goes up

What is happening to Persil? This new triple care product is watery, smells cheap and fruity. The clothes feel like there is a film and it leaves a musty smell like it wasn’t thoroughly clean. I wasn’t a fan of the 2025 Original formula but this is even worse. I think it’s time to go back to Tide!!!

Horrible new “original” formula

I used to LOVE your product but my your new “original” is just awful. Your fragrance used to be light and fresh but now your fragrance is overpowering. It now triggers migraines for me with its scent, its caustic, strong, and fake smelling. I have been unable to remove the scent from my clothes even after washing them 3times with another detergent. I can not stand the scent it is horrible and I feel like it’s ruin my clothing. Your new formula also leaves behind a greasy residue on the clothes. ...

Smells like a porta potty

I came here to do some research and it appears I’m not alone. The smell of this new triple act detergent is repulsive and smells like a porta potty. I’m so upset, I switched to this brand specifically after I got covid 6 years ago because it was one of the few that didn’t smell terrible to me…but now, here we are. Sad, disheartened, and returning the 2 jugs I bought because silly me thought there was something wrong with the first one.

TripleCare Original is a top tier performer!

I’ve been using Persil since it was introduced to the USA in 2015. It always works great for me and this latest TripleCare version is no different. I care about general stain removal but color preservation and fabric care is also important to me. I’ve read that the scent of the new TripleCare Original version is not being received well but I like it. It’s very strong while washing but is just a subtle scent in my laundry once it comes out of the dryer.

I don't like the Triple Care option, it's given my clothes a little ashy look whereas the Persil Original Deep Clean helps thoroughly keep the color in my clothes. Is the Persil Original Deep Clean no longer available?

Very Upset!

I just restocked my Persil Original that I've used for years. I switched to Persil from another brand because that brand changed their formula, and I couldn't stand the new smell. Unfortunately the new formula doesn't only not smell good it doesn't work as well either. Why change something that's perfect? New formula is terrible

New Persil Triple Care smells horrible!

I have been buying Persil for 7 years or thereabouts after using it in Germany. My family loved it and were thrilled to find it in the US. I traded Tide for Persil. The new Persil "original" triple care is terrible. It is sickening sweet smelling and very watery. It stinks up our whole house and our sheets are not as soft and smell horrible.
