Ratings & Reviews for Permagreen 2 -cu ft Brown Hardwood Decorative Bark Mulch
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the mulch for its excellent value, rich brown color, and ease of application, with most noting strong performance relative to cost and attractive curb appeal. Many appreciate the bagged format's convenience and how cleanly it spreads. However, a notable group reports inconsistent quality issues, including large wood chunks up to four inches mixed throughout bags and occasional mold or discolored bags. Some mention color fading after rain or within months. Despite these concerns, most customers consider it a reliable, affordable choice they return to year after year.

Would RecommendI bought this to keep my flowers protected for the winter and add a pop of color to my flower beds. It keeps them protected and keeps my soil moist over the winter

Junk
Would Not RecommendPurchased a 100 bags last season and laid down during bone dry weather. The color lasted for maybe 2 months. Also, each bag was full of garbage like plastic, nails...just pure junk. Yes, it will save you money upfront but then you are getting what you paid for! Super safe pass and no recommendations!
Mulch
Would RecommendThis is a good quality mulch, very little debris in the bag and the sale price makes it a good value.

Moldy product
Would Not RecommendI bought a pallet of this mulch and lots of the bags were full of mold. Very disappointing as I've purchsed these before and they were good quality. Easy to move by the bag rather than a truck load.
