I don't like it. It's difficult to use. The sharp teeth caused the paint on the lid to come off on the jar I opened. I had to be careful that the small pieces did not get in the jar. I will not be using it anymore

This is too useful, I love it, it helps to do everything faster. It is one of the best products there is. Do not hurt your hands if you use this product.

This is the best jar opener!

I bought one of these for my mother (now 95 y. o. ) several years ago. Then it got "lost" in a move. SO I replaced it and bought one for myself as well. I use this a lot. It makes opening jars and bottles exceptionally easy. I have arthritis so I appreciate easy.

Works so well!

This is heavy duty which is needed for me to get jars open. I appreciate the easy to hold handle and how it grips the jar.

Everyone should have one of these

the design is great you can open anything without force. it's durable. you can grip it easily. it's easy to handle do to design. I recommend it for anyone

Good for opening tightly sealed containers

Ladies now you don’t have to ask useless sofa seaters for helping now we can do it by ourselves now with this durable and affordable tool. It’s light weight and with great grip.

Dangerous for younger and older people.

I love Oxo products, but this one is dangerous for older people and, most likely, young ones, as well. It slips and has sharp edges. It requires a lot of strength. This webpage and the product should have a warning that the opener is not appropriate for most older people or children. If this isn't done soon, I will no longer buy Oxo products.

I am quite satisfied with it. The device solidly grips the lid and there’s plenty of leverage to open easily.

Bought for a friend who was struggling opening jars and more importantly wine bottles She is now a happy bunny I'm very impressed with this item it is quite easy to use good size handle to grip and seems real solidly made and doesnt take up a lot of storage space

So helpful

I used this at a friend’s house and it was so easy and wonderful that I ordered two - one for me, one for a neighbor. I am in heaven and she is beside herself with joy because she has arthritis and now she can open things instead of having someone come over to do it. This thing is fabulous. I know people design these things to make money but please tell whoever designed it how helpful it is and how glad some people are to have it.

I have arthritis so opening jars and bottles can be difficult as well as painful. I haven’t found a jar or bottle yet that I haven’t been able to open with my new jar opener. It’s easy, effective and painless!

Open ANY jar!

I have an older version and have never found a jar I couldn't open. I had dinner at a friend's house and a jar defeated both of us so I looked for one like mine. It is ready for Easter in her basket along with a good chocolate rabbit, of course. She'll love it!

OXO jar opener

This is the second one I’ve bought and I bought this one because when I went through airport security, they said it was a weapon and they confiscated it! I had it in my carry-on which wasn’t a good idea!
