The mandoline is light weight, easy to store, and makes repetitive cutting jobs quick. I learned the hard way to always use the slicing guard, but i refuse to stop using it. I love all of my Oxo kitchen gadgets!!! This is a brand you can trust they hold up well they are very comfortable to use. They’re all easy to clean and dishwasher safe. But if you don’t have a mandolin, it’s the tool you never knew you needed!!!
