Would RecommendMainstream chains are not meant to be sharpened, regardless of brand. Use it, and toss when dull. I expect that and am very satisfied with what I am getting for the price. I have a small 14 inch electric.

The thicker chain works perfectly on my makita. I had purchased the thinner one before. That was a mistake the thinner one kept popping off bar. This thicker one works great no issues. Spend the couple extra dollars it's well worth it.
