Stupid engineering
Who ever designed and authorized the plug to hold water is a complete and total waste of oxygen. you can do anything in the sink without knocking it loose and draining the water out of the sink.

Would Not RecommendBought 2 in the past 3 years and both have failed and locked up in the same way. Thought the first one was due to a defect, but then the second one failing in the same way. What a coincidence? Others have had similar issues in prior reviews.

POOR Quality.......
Would Not RecommendThis item was a piece of junk. It worked off and on for five years. It had to be unjammed several times with the awkward tool that only Moen disposals use and had to be purchased separately. Finally the motor seized, which I guess is common to this type of motor and the item was scrapped.

Installed and works OK. After installing I noticed that the plastic bags the unit and parts for it were in the bottom of the box. This box had been opened, all the parts listed on the installation instruction were there.
