Loud Garbage Disposal not the quietest
Would Not RecommendI purchased this on June 20, 2026. We replaced a previous InSinkErator model with Moen Ex100C. We are very dissappointed with the noise level. Also, when we turn on the disposal, there is a really loud clank sound that is very irritating. But once it turns on this sound goes away. But this model is really loud as if there is no dampening of sound at all. Not at all what I expect from a Moen brand.
Instructions are a little confusing
Would RecommendI liked the 3/4 horsepower relative to the price. The 10 year warranty is significant. The pictures in the instructions made it a little confusing to install correctly but I eventually figured it out. This disposal went in our rental property and after it was hooked up and operating it I thought the 3/4 horsepower would have sounded a little more robust than it does but I have no way of measuring the actual horsepower output. So I have to take Moen's word that it's actually 3/4 hp. All in all I'...

Would Not RecommendThe unit I bought in Jan decided to take a poo last night for no reason. It is advertised as a 1hp disposal so it should be able to grind things efficiently, but it does not. I will not be buying a Moen brand item again because they are poor quality and have horrible customer service. I waited three days to even hear back from an email.
