Inconsistent with sample can of the same stain
We bought a sample of this and it dried very dark. When we applied a gallon can to cover the floors the gallon can dried way lighter than the sample can. We did stir both cans and applied the stain the same way. This was applied to red oak floors. It still looks good but it is sadly not as dark as we hoped. Not sure why the gallon can was different than the sample, but potentially keep that in mind when you’re sampling this product.

Would RecommendThis Minwax stain is so awesome! I had my carport wooden stairs & door stained again. It came out perfectly. You do want to give whatever job you're doing about 4-5 days to fully dry. Especially if heavily stained. It's so worth the wait though! This Minwax stain gets my most strongest recommendation.

Would Not RecommendThe mini wax that we bought, we got 2 gallons of it, and both of them do not stay mixed, even though they’ve been shaking and shaking and shaking, and stirred the dye separates from the solution. We took this product back to Lowe’s complaining about how the dye doesn’t stay immersed mixed in the solution and they accused us of adding water to it when we did nothing to it.
