Ratings & Reviews for Minwax Gel Stain Oil-based Coffee Semi-transparent Interior Stain ( 1-quart )
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The gel stain is easy to apply and provides good coverage in one or two coats. It is available in a range of colors, with the dark roast and chestnut shades being the most popular. Some users find the stain to be a bit thick and sticky, requiring careful application and wiping. It's important to stir the stain well before use and apply it quickly, as it dries fairly fast. Using a pre-stain conditioner is recommended, especially on porous woods, for best results.
