Would RecommendI bought this to apply to three new window frames after staining. Product does take a few days to fully cure but the wait is well worth it.

Overall pleased
Would RecommendI used this on a table top because wanted durability of spar with constant washing after kids eating messes. It went on easily and was fairly smooth finish. I did sand between coats. The main issue I had with finish is sheen, the sample finish showed a more hand rubbed sheen which I was surprised for satin but the finish had a glossier finish like most satin have.

Patience Yields Best Results
Would Recommend6 hours is the minimum drying time for sanding/recoating. I counsel patience. 12 - 24 hours is what I have always followed and never had a problem. I usually apply 5 coats (which may be extreme). The final finish is spectacular, especially after curing for a minimum of 48 hours. If you're in a hurry and don't have the luxury of time use the Minwax water-based varnish. I'm an ol' guy have used spar varnish for the past 30 years and it's never let me down..
