What Customers Are Saying
The Minwax Lacquer Spray appears to have mixed reviews. While it is praised for its easy application, fast drying time, and glossy finish, some customers reported issues with brush marks, uneven coverage, and a cloudy appearance. The product works well when applied properly, but requires technique and care to avoid common problems. Proper surface preparation, light coats, and avoiding high humidity are key for achieving the best results.

Would RecommendSo nice to have laquer in a spray can. This worked really well on a gray table we painted. It was easy to use and quick. Would use again

Terrible Product
Would Not RecommendSave yourself the $15 bucks and get a cheaper poly that actually does ‘glossy’ vs this. It is dull not shiny and the spray can nozzle somehow didn’t stop the flow and continued spraying! Really a waste of money and time! And not water nor oil based perhaps that’s the issue! Should have used my brush on products I had at home!!

Easy application for clear coating intricate wood
Would RecommendWorks really well for me. Refinished a dining table that had intricate accent pieces on the legs. It made for easy application where as if I had used a foam brush and liquid application method I would have likely had areas with pooling/dripping.

Do not buy this product.
Would Not RecommendI have always had good luck with Miniwax products. This particular product does not perform at all. It says it is clear gloss. It does not deliver a gloss finish at all. The lacquer does not “run” is lays on the surface dry and dull. It says no sanding needed, but the surface is not smooth at all. Look up this product on line and you will find lots of similar reviews
