Short life span- disappointed

We needed to upgrade to a larger double door model with our family of eight. This model seemed reasonably priced at the time and we have this brand window air conditioners that have been working great for years. We purchased in April 2024 and it served our purpose fine. Well, it quit working this week (2 years and 3 months after purchase). The warranty just expired 3 months ago. Quality in products have went way down. You should get way more than a little over two years of use on a refrigerator....

Compressor failed after three years.

Midea advertises a ten year warranty on their compressors but when mine died after only three years they would not offer any warranty support. Our Frigidaire is 19 years old and still going strong. Definitely do not recommend buying anything from this brand.

Nothing but trouble

Has never really worked well and now after less than 2 years the door alarm won't stop going off, ice maker quite working and Midea customer support is laughable. Has been going on for 3.5 weeks and they are still asking for a receipt that we have submitted repeatedly. Was a mistake going with this brand.

bought March 10, 2023 stopped cooling today, exactly three years and a day later , March 11, 2026 ....inside control panel on the door flickers and glitches. you shouldn't have to replace appliances every few years.

Midea Refrigerators are junk

This refrigerator is a junk. They make them to last for 3-4 years max on purpose. We bought it to replace a Samsung that was year and half old when died. We got the Midea on 5/28/2022 and broke yesterday 8/23/25. Within the first year of ownership the bottom drawers with the wheels the tracks for the wheels broke. Broke down after 2 years, can't find water filters

Bought this refrigerator 2 years ago, and now it's broke down. Lost all my food & medicines. Of course this happened after manufacturing warranty is up. We did purchase the Lowes protection plan, but it's really a joke on the consumer. Still waiting for them to attempt to fix it. This fridge needs a water filter, which LPP reimburses 50% as a "care & performance" product, but only if purchased at Lowe's or a Lowe's subsidiary. Cheap Parts Wear Out Quick Needing Repairs.

How does gasket go so quickly. My 20 year old refrigerator that I still have has never had such an issue. This new refrigerator also is louder than my 20 year old refrigerator at this point and time

The Refrigerator is nice maybe a little on the high side because of the warranty that's offered. Which is BS! No one seems to honor their warranties these days. So buying additional coverage will be a fight to get it. Have your Make/ Model and S# ready. A copy of your receipt and warranty on hand. And find it doesn't matter. I bought this refrigerator a couple weeks ago and the freezer section of it decided to stop working had to get it replaced hopefully the replacement will not have any problems other than that I like it so far lot of room to store groceries I like the water and ice maker too
