Would RecommendI had some humid issues in my bedroom to the point that some mold started to grow on my furniture. I bought a hygrometer to assess the situation. When I saw the average readings I researched dehumidifiers. This one popped up as a great option that’s easy to empty. They were right. It’s very easy to to empty. I have it set so it stops running when my room gets to 55% humidity. I plan on buying a few more. One for my living room and another for my basement before next summer.

My Hisense works better
Would Not RecommendI needed a second dehumidifier for my humid central TX house. I had had to replace my old GE with Hisense, which wasn't as good, so I thought I'd try the Midea Cube. It's even worse. The Hisense rarely gets down below 40% but the Midea is worse. The Midea is also harder to empty, since you have to lift the very heavy mechanism out of the bucket instead of the other way around. The bucket has a much bigger capacity, so if it worked it would be great, but it would still be a workout to empty ...

Best
I like that it has wheels so I can move it easily around the basement. I read on consumer reports that this was the best one.

Efficient dehumidifier
Would RecommendI bought this three weeks ago. It arrived in two days, well ahead of the promised delivery date. It is efficient in decreasing the humidity in my main room as desired. The design is good for storage, and adequate for dumping the bottom storage drawer although it can be quite heavy when full. It is reasonably quiet. Only downside is that it gets warm when used for many hours, so humidity decreases but room temp rises.

Easy to set up & use but can be heavy
Would RecommendI bought this to replace an older dehumidifier that was no longer working for my damp basement. I love the open bucket that is easy to clean and empty. Our older dehumidifier required a lot of work to remove the cover of the collection tank to wash & the collection tank couldn't even be set on the ground without tipping over. This is all open with an good strong handle. That said, we didn't need such a large dehumidifier & we should have gone with the 20 pint. The unit allows you to choos...

Great dehumidifier
Would RecommendImpressed with the new dehumidifier. It pulls a huge amount of water out of the air and is quiet. Ours is set up to be emptied manually because there are no drains near its location. Watch for the “P2” to appear on the display to indicate the reservoir tub is full & must be emptied.

Will not recognize bucketless as an option
Would Not RecommendI’m unable to program the dehumidifier as bucketless. The icon does not come up after following the directions. I reached out to Midea customer service and they couldn’t help me either and said they send for a return ticket. The unit is draining at times from the hose but I can’t say if it’s working properly as I said, it won’t accept bucketless as an option. I’m not happy with this unit

Excellent. I am keeping my eye on the humidity set button-If I set it at 35% my room goes to 54% , even a bit higher. Maybe just new.
