Ratings & Reviews for Merchants Metals 5-in Galvanized Gate hinge

What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these gate hinges for reliable performance, sturdy construction, and excellent value. Most report they work perfectly for chain-link and wooden fences, install easily on standard 2-3/8-inch posts, and withstand heavy gates and strong winds without rusting. Reviewers consistently describe them as heavy-duty, well-manufactured, and built to last. Many appreciate the adjustability and compatibility with standard hardware. A few note the hinges lack included bolts or nuts, requiring separate purchase, and some mention the pins are cast rather than milled. Despite these minor inconveniences, customers consider them an outstanding value.
