Warning! Can arrive broken!

This was given to me as a Christmas gift. This meant I didn't get to use it for several months when the weather got better. One the very first attempt to fire this up, it did not heat. At all. The temperature control panel worked fine and showed that the smoker never got above 75 degrees. Even after several hours of "heating". When I opened to check, the heating element was cool to the touch. I filed a complaint, hoping I could get help on this. There was no phone number to reach and talk to so...

DO! NOT! BUY! JUNK! JUNK! JUNK! I buy the 40 inch digital smoker on April 20th, 2026, from a big box store. I assembled it following the instructions to the letter. I used it three times, once in May, twice in June. I planned to use it on the Fourth of July. I plugged it in and immediately recognized the digital control was not functioning. Great Smoker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this smoker for about six months. I am a beginner at smoking food and this unit works great for me. I set the thermostat and timer, and some water and wood chips and letter go. I do use a digital meat thermometer probe. I love this smoker for the ease of use and relatively small footprint. Food comes out great!

Amazing smoky flavor

Excellent Smoker

Upgraded from 30" to 40" because I use it so much

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I essentially used up every bit of life in the 30" smoker. It was tight for full slabs of ribs forcing me to cut them in half. Now the 40" smoker takes 8 full slabs of ribs snd I can smoke a 20lb turkey and larger sized brisket. I am more than happy with the performance of your product. Now I have my eye on your lump charcoal smoker / grill combos. Looks intriguing 😁

Perfect entry into smoking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed something small for my patio to smoke in and came across this beauty. Took some work figuring out the best wood chip to smoke ratio, but once I did loved everything I smoked in here. Smoked an Easter ham, pulled pork, bacon, salmon, asparagus; it all turned out delicious and nice smokey. Doesn't seem to get as great a smoke ring as a large smoker, but the flavor is there!

Top of the line!

Now, just about every weekend it's pork ribs, chicken leg quarters, or pork chops. They always come out of the smoker perfectly cooked and flavored. Delicious. Thank you Masterbuilt!
