Would Not Recommend1 star for Lowes. Bought this bucket 3 years ago and was advertised as food grade. Went to by another (I scanned UPC on the side of the bucket, so I know it is the same). it is no longer advertised as food grade. Checked with manufacturer and verified BPA free but not food grade. luckily, I only ever stored dry foods in it, but it is completely unacceptable to sell something as food grade when it is not. bucket will work as a utility bucket. Just don't put food in it.

Great 5 Gallon bucket but not food grade!
Would RecommendGreat solid 5 gallon bucket. I gave 4 stars as the bucket is described as food grade but it is apparently not!! Also, if you need a lid that fits, just buy the blue lid being sold at Lowe's stores, which fits perfectly but not an airtight seal, as that requires a rubber gasket.
