Perfect in front of our family memorials in the local cemetery. Definitely low maintenance and deer resistant. Unlike lilies we have, never had deer touch them. We still have lilies on the sides of the memorials. Sometimes the deer eat them and sometimes not. But the marigold and lily combination works for us.

Would Not RecommendThese were not successful at all in our garden. I’ve been planting marigolds for years even from my own seeds and this particular batch ended up being so bad, it took it a while to start off after transplanting (even though marigolds are known to be easy plants to grow), they are very very short stemmed (even if they are French marigolds, they are usually not this short almost down to the soil) and the ones in the actual garden continue to rot instead of bloom.

Would RecommendThis season, we have used marigolds to help prevent insect pests from destroying our backyard crops.
