Big fridge but weak shelves

Fridge is nice but I have had two of the door shelves break. The plastic shelves seem too flimsy.

Compressor failed 4 yrs old

What a piece of junk pay this much for the compressor to fail after 4 yrs!!!!! They just make them now to fail so you have to buy more. No longer buying lg

Don’t buy LG

Broke right after warranty and tried them fixed price repair program and they couldn’t fix it after three times over a month! If you want to be fridgeless for a month and throw out food every time it breaks again, i recommend an LG Fridge. Never buying LG fridges again! Hope this helps anyone else on the fence!

Large size

First time owning LG refrigerator with an ice maker. Keeping everything cold in the frig and frozen in the freezer. The size is the largest for a 33 in 25-cubic ft frig plenty of room for food. The only noise I hear is the ice maker doing its job. Plenty of shelf space for arrangement of food so you can access your item easily.

Customer service just plain sucks

The ice maker has never worked since purchase. Instead of sending someone to fix the icemaker, they send you the parts and want you to install them. I didn't purchase a $1700 refridgerator so I can be the technician that has to fix it. If this thing was several years old then I may choose to fix it myself. Not when the fridge is brand new.

Great But

I love the amount of room it has. It's easy to find and reach things. I very much like the narrow little shelf on the bottom of the door, great for medications and things that otherwise easily get lost. The door will only open from the right, however, and because LG has not sent the required hardware to change the way it opens, Im really wishing we'd gotten the 3-door style. Sour taste about LG.

Vibration Noise Drives me crazy

I've purchased two of these refrigerators and both have had problems. The first died at 5 years and two months after purchase - right after the warranty expired. We could not wait for repair issues, so we sent that one to a landfill and bought an identical one due to space issues in our kitchen. This second unit makes a loud vibration sound at least half of the day. I intend to have a warranty service call and I hope something can be done to stop the noise, though I am not optimistic. Classic design

Our LG refrigerator has worked flawlessly every since we installed it over a year ago. Our previous "new" refrigerator, an Amana model, was nothing but total grief and simply would not defrost sufficiently to prevent it from freezing the coils into a block of solid ice about twice a week in the summer.
