LG frig is not good

The refrigerator was three years old when a fan went out. Should be under warranty for there are known issues with the refrigerator. I will never buy another LG refrigerator.

Ice Maker

Chris was able to fix the ice maker in our four year old refrigerator in about 90 minutes with a new fan. Chris was also very neat and answered general operating questions about the refrigerator.

New features

I like the smooth outside. It also is very quiet. The shelf in the freezer is also helpful.

Errors after the warranty period ends

I bought this fridge, and my mom did as well, and both of us have gotten the IF E error code after the warranty ended. The cause is a failing fan motor in the freezer compartment. Doing searches online show this is a common failure of LG fridges.

Worst customer service ever

No call back for defective ice maker on refrigerator we paid $2400.00, for and 3 year service plan, still broken and no help from anyone. Biggest problem is no one ever calls you back.

Bottom drawer ice tray won’t flip out the ice anymore. Not sure what the issue is? I need to reset it each time for ice to be dispersed.

Great looking but just over 2 years old and the freezer fan went out, was told the part is no longer produced. replacement would be over $100. plus $95. service call and 250. labor. we Paid over 2,000 for this you would expect it to last at least 8 to ten years not just 2 and a half.

Piece of Garbage!

Purchased this lemon from Lowe's in April 2024. 16 months later the fan to keep the ice frozen goes out. Out of warranty (of course). Would not recommend.

Buy something else

Water dispenser has broken three times as of yesterday. Each time this breaks it takes Lowe’s Protection Plan folks WEEKS to get someone to repair it on top of waiting for parts and return visits. I’m tired of having to take time off from work to fix a 3k fridge. I will never buy another LG appliance and will find another retailer as well,

Great for a while

Our fridge isn't even two years old yet and we've begun getting error codes related to ice building up on the coils and the compressor is making a horrible racket. I'm so dissapointed.

I like the color of the stainless steel that is slightly darker because of the fingerprint proof finish. Inside has adequate lighting, bottom shelf is solid and non adjustable . Upper 2 tiers of shelves are adjustable, each tier has 2 half width shelves that can remain locked together, or adjust to duit your frig items.
