The fall of LG fridges in America

The refrigerator compressor went bad after only 4 years. Otherwise we were happy with it. Compressors should last the life of the fridge. Many fridges from the 1980s are still running. If a fridge has updated features, then the compressor should be able to compensate for that. If not, come up with new technology. As a multi-million dollar company, that should be possible.

Great little refrigerator!

Fit into my space perfectly! Very efficient and easy to organize contents. Does NOT have a filter for the icemaker, but I added an external filter behind the refrigerator. Easy to maneuver and clean.

I only gave it 4 stars because I really do not like French Door Fridgs but after returning 2 different side by sides because of not cooling properly I was just happy to have one that did! If you like FD Fridgs you will like this and it's and LG so Life Is Good!!

Wouldn’t recommend their fridges

LG has a lot of great product lines it seems. Their fridges do not fall under that category. I own some rental properties and have 3 LG fridges. All of them have had issues. Their support is misleading and a total struggle.

the icemaker makes frozen chunks

I am now on my third icemaker. You replaced the first one under warranty. I just had to replace the second one at my expense. Both times it was the same problem: big masses of ice cubes all stuck together. There is clearly a design problem. My water pressure is fine--60psi. It's well within the limits of the required pressure for this refrigerator.

The right hand door is difficult to close. U try to close it and u need to push it hard Is there anything I can do to make it easier

The new refrigerator keeps things cold and frozen. However, we are extremely disappointed that it is so much smaller inside than our old refrigerator that was the same outside size.

The LG refrigerator is a quality item that we would recommend to anyone. We appreciate the company's sizes because of restrictions with available space within our kitchen.

Perfect fit

I've had this LG refrigerator for 3 years.. it fits my smaller space perfectly and has been performing as it should. It is very compact and holds plenty of food for me, although it may be too small for a family. The ice maker works well, love the slide-out fruit drawer at the bottom, and I like that it softly chimes if a door is left ajar. Its only shortcoming is that taller bottles don't fit into the body space. but they do fit on either side door. It is sleek and the finish looks great. Very h...

Beautiful but had to return

We thought our space was plenty big as we had a larger refrigerator in that space. We were surprised when we opened the doors and realized they don't open flush with the refrigerator. Our appliance has to sit in a corner and the wall doesn't give. Keep that in mind when you buy this item. Otherwise it would've been perfect!
