Had it 14 months and already not working

I bought this AC unit last april, used it one summer, then started using it again this summer and it is defective. I have kept the filter clean, have followed all the steps to check and it is blowing hot air. I have to sleep on my couch downstairs bc it is too hot in my room....i am very dissapointed that a $500 dollar AC unit didnt last 2 summers.....

LOUD, starts and stops constantly, poor cooling,

I’ve had this AC for several years and always hated it. 15000 BTU and can’t adequately cool an 800 sq foot condo. Very loud, like an airplane engine. Stupid internal thermostat makes it start, stop, start again within a minute. I’m looking forward to replacing it. Pricey Piece of Junk.

Hot in Phoenix

Product stopped cooling during the day after 18 months. Have never had an AC only work for 18 months

Energy saver mode comes on every 5 minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner comes on every 3 minutes sampling the temperature in energy saver mode. I hate that. It always bothers me every 3 minutes, so I never use the energy saver mode. Other than that the performance is good.

Long Life, Life Is Good LG!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I fitted this unit in my garage 8 years ago and still going after surviving a garage fire about 4 years ago minus the front cover which melted from the heat. Today it will not cool on cool mode but will cool on Energy Saver. I will be buying it again very soon!

Four year life span

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Four year life span. The power plug module started buzzing the fourth year I needed it, Blew cool air but didn't seem to turn off. Finally crapped out completely and tripped the breaker. Really sad. I'm used to A/Cs lasting twenty years.

Good while it lasted…which wasn’t long!

After two summers of use this no longer cools my 600 sq ft apartment. The first two summers I could have it set on 68 and the whole place was cool and comfortable, now even set at 64 the thermostat in the house says it’s 72°! I am so frustrated bc this was a very expensive unit!

Only lasted 4 years at 6 months a year, I expected more. Sounded like a train after 3 years. It was very good at cooling.

Works Well

I've had this unit for about 2 1/2 years now. It has worked great other than for about the last 8 to 10 months the buttons on it are starting to go out so when I try to turn the temperature up or down or switch the mode I've noticed it glitches where I have to press the button several times. I would highly recommend getting the extended protection plan for this purpose alone due to the fact that once the buttons go completely out it's going to be useless.

Just not right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought it July, have had problems with it making all kinds of noises and not cooling the best ,it also draws a lot of electricity, had repair man come ,of course it was working when he got here ,he did nothing but stand there and look at it ,said it was fine and left. It still does the same thing that I called about, so not happy and I think they should replace it ,because it is just not working properly.

Works better than expected

I bought this 2 months ago and we have been so pleased it cools great and the energy saver is awesome,just a all around great product.

Big and bold

I Bought this air conditioner a month and a half ago and I have had some problems with it, making weird noises, of course when I get some one though warranty to come look at it ,it works fine till they leave then it makes the noise again ,warranty is only a year and it almost the end of summer. So we all know it will happen again when the warranty doesn't cover. Also it doesn't cool like I expected

At least 2 filters should have been included in the package ;In addition contact info on where to source the filters. info. The unit is very noisy but it does cool the room within a reasonable time frame.
