Not good-would not recommend

I'm not sure who is giving this weedeater high reviews my experience has not been good at all. Other than it being versatile I would say it doesn't have enough power to trim efficiently and the battery does not stay charged long enough for me to do all my property which is not a very big property at all (standard in town lot). The weedeater cord does not self feed like it's supposed to it gets tangled it's just been a big hassle. I keep telling myself it's not that bad and giving a chance after ...

Started smoking

Good weed eater but it did start smoking and now won’t work. Refund in progress but good value for what you pay for. Been using kobalt for many years so not really hung up on the situation. Apparently there’s a recall on kobalt yard electric tools so buyer beware and be ready.

No Bumper Head

I have never seen a weed /grass trimmer WITHOUT a string feed bumper head so I didn’t notice until after assembling . According to directions : Remove battery (safety precaution) , turn trimmer upside down. Push button and manually pull the two lines of string to lengthen. I have a lot of retaining wall so this isn’t happening.

Fantastic trimmer for homeowner use

Excellent cutting even with .065 line. Good battery life. Light weight, adjustable handle & head for user comfort. Auto line advance. Rotating edger w/whéels. Tackles big stuff, just go slow. Cons: Shaft tends to rotate while in use. Spool cap hard to rememove for line replacement. I do recommend

My Kobalt 12-in Telescopic Shaft Battery String Trimmer Edger works better than my electric trimmer that it replaced. I love that the trimming head pivots with its wheels to make edging a breeze.

battery life is good

Light weight, adjustments allow it to be balanced for different users. A button on the handle to advance the line would be great.

Great price for tool with batteries, charger

Good price and features. Have had a Kobalt leaf blower for 3 years and very satisfied. Assembly instructions a little unclear, but once deciphered fairly easy.

worked once

Used one time before it wouldn't work. Pulled trigger and nothing. Not worth buying to have to get all the pieces back together just to to return it. Disappointing because it would be a great multiuse device to have.

Problem installing line

I have a small lawn and this edger was going to be perfect for my use. The first problem is the line broke during the first time I use it. Next problem was trying to open the line cover. Had to ask my neighbor to open it and he had to pull hard to get it open. By the way I am a female user. I have used edgers before and had no problem. I feel like I wasted my money. I don't think that I can return it, because I have used it I would it I could. Now I have to repurchase one I can use. So disappoin...
