Does the job
Would RecommendFar better than my old gas powered trimmer. No vibration and it’s long enough so I don’t have to lean forward which is great for my back and upper body. Plenty of power for me and I have no trouble at all cutting the taller weeds. The battery is heavier, more powerful and longer lasting than Kobalt’s earlier generation 40v tools and I can use this battery in the older Kobalt chain saws and leaf blower that I have. Definitely recommended.

Easy to use
Would RecommendI bought this for my wife a few weeks ago and she loves it. No more pull starting. It is light enough for her to use for the entire battery life. The battery recharges pretty quickly. Runs quiet and is easy to operate. Cuts well and feeds string properly.

Better than my previous trimmer
Would RecommendThis is actually a replacement for a kobalt 24 volt string trimmer which I had for over 2 years and hated!!! But since I already have a 40 volt Kobalt mower the 40 volt trimmer was a perfect upgrade. The weight is distributed better, plenty of power, easy balance but the best feature of all ... The quick rewind when having to replace the line! I just feel this is such a better unit than the 24 volt trimmer. The cost of the 4ah battery alone covered the cost of the trimmer. It started loosing power after about 15 minutes. For less money I could have bought a gas unit that would do what I wanted done.
