What Customers Are Saying
The Kobalt bolt cutters are a versatile tool that can effectively cut through a variety of materials, including wire, chain, locks, and fencing. Many users reported the cutters were able to easily and efficiently cut through their intended targets, with the long handles providing good leverage and the spring-loaded mechanism making the job easier. The cutters were praised for their durability, holding up well even after extensive use. However, some customers noted the blades became dented or dulled when cutting through thicker or more heavy-duty materials, such as large padlocks or rebar, limiting their suitability for the most demanding applications.

Would RecommendI was able to cut a master lock with ease. You can see on the attached picture, the lock was locked backwards (terrible design from Master Lock). I forgot to take picture after using the bolt cutters but it works. I'm surprised at how easy it was to use the bolt cutters. Definitely recommend.

This works great
Would RecommendI cut hollow metal tubing with it -- not solid, forged steel. I can tell it will come in handy again someday.
