What Customers Are Saying
The Kobalt 24-inch bolt cutters have received mixed reviews. Many customers found the product effective for cutting through various materials like steel, chains, and fences, and praised its power and construction. However, some users reported issues with the cutting edges becoming dented or damaged after limited use, and problems with the adjustment mechanism. The consensus is that the cutters work well for softer materials, but may struggle with more challenging cutting tasks, particularly on hardened locks and padlocks.

Tried using them once on something that should've been EASY and I'm no weakling to say the least and I thought they were gana bust
Great quality and price!
Would RecommendI was able to cut a master lock with ease. You can see on the attached picture, the lock was locked backwards (terrible design from Master Lock). I forgot to take picture after using the bolt cutters but it works. I'm surprised at how easy it was to use the bolt cutters. Definitely recommend.

Would Not RecommendDelivered today from local store and they have clearly been used. They didn’t have a tag or label.

Works!
Would RecommendPurchased this so I could avoid breaking out my steel chop saw or grinder to cut some chain. Great investment. Worked perfectly.
Used Product
Would Not RecommendOrder and had shipped to my home. After opening discovered the bolt cutters were used. Cutting edge was all chipped. I'm returning immediately, but Lowe's should not have shipped a used product to me in the first place! No quality control by Lowe's. Very disappointing 😞!!!
Cuts thru steel like butter!
Would RecommendMade it super easy to cut thru the springs in my recliner that were about 1/8 inch thick.
Very good product
Would RecommendWorked as expected. Good Product
