Great Cart!

This cart has exponentially increased my productivity.

Poor tire quality

We purchased a Kobalt yard cart approximately six months ago, and the tires are already showing significant signs of dry rot and deterioration. Given the short amount of time the cart has been owned, this appears to be a quality issue with the tires. The tires are clearly not holding up to normal use, and we are disappointed with their durability and overall quality

flimsy

tires are worthless. flat every time I want to use. flimsy components. have to have new clips available every time you use it. should have went with a different one. very disappointed

Wheels fall off

Just like many other reviews on here, I've had two wheels fall off due to the pin and wash disappearing. The wheel pins are not secure enough to stay in place and fall out on their own. Very poor design or selection of pins.

Axle pins are poor

Wheel came loose on first use. Added washer and a cotter pin to each axle. Secure now. Very handy cart

Taking a dump.

Easy to put together, strong, sturdy and versatile, wish they would have made the handle to fold down and you could hook it up to your lawnmower to pull around.

Don't get it wet

After two years of use and occasionally hosing it down before storage the frame is rusting and paint is flaking off. Garbage product..

wheels fell off

lowes and or kobalt won't replace the pins holding the wheels, so now I am stuck with a cart with two missing wheels.

challenging assembly

I expected to have the cart assembled when I picked it up, thinking that I had checked the free assembly box, but it was in the box only. It was a challenge for me to assemble, it taking over an hour just to removed the nuts and bolts, etc. that were packed in an adhesive tape melted against a cardboard panel with numbered designations. So sticky I could barely pull it apart. On the other hand, the instructions were easy to follow, and although, I had to borrow a socket wrench that I did not ...

Frustrated with Catastrophic Tire Failures

I purchased this Kobalt 7 cu ft poly cart from my local Lowe’s on May 31, 2026. While the frame and poly bed seem decent, the factory pneumatic tires are completely defective and dangerous. Within just a couple of months, 3 out of the 4 tires have essentially failed. ( I returned it and purchased a Gorilla Cart the same size.) Fair quality. But built strong.

Seems to be built well. There was a major defect on the cart that damaged a vital component. A welding cleanup error damaged the washer in the handle November. I had to file down the poor weld.

very impressed

I just bought this cart as I was looking at wheelbarrows. This seems like a better option. It was VERY easy to assemble, and the parts were well organized so it's easy to see if anything is missing. It feels very sturdy, and it stores vertically!! Very well designed and I'm excited to use it.

Unprofessional experience with Customer Service

I did not appreciate the way your staff handled my questions about my purchase. I received nothing but frustration on the part of your staff who immediately took the opportunity to give me an accounting education on the way credits and balances are handled by Lowes.
