Great addition to tool belt
Purchased this because my so In law asked for help with an electrical problem in their house, pulled it out and plugged it in and it showed hot and ground crossed so just pulled receptacles on that circuit to find a faulty recept. Job done 🤷. Must have tool

Works, good for the price
Would RecommendI have a dead outlet and bought this to test it. The device works fine. When I use it on working outlets it lights up appropriately. It did nothing on my dead outlet which is useful in itself for me. They make fancier versions that test GFCI but I did not need that

Only fair
Would Not RecommendWorks only fair. If outlet on lower part of wall is configured differently one can't see the lights without bending "way" over. Lights aren't that good - orange light doesn't stand out from orange body.
