What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this voltage tester for its accuracy, reliability, and practical design. The large, bright LCD display and built-in flashlight are standout features that make readings easy in dark spaces. Reviewers consistently highlight dependable performance for detecting electrical issues, GFCI problems, and wiring faults like reversed polarity. The dual-range functionality prevents false readings and builds confidence. Most describe it as sturdy, well-built, and compact enough for everyday use. A small number report intermittent failures or battery cap issues, but these are vastly outweighed by strong satisfaction with professional-grade performance at reasonable cost.

LCD - Customer Communication
I am perfectly fine with the old style with the lamps that indicate circuit status. However, the benefit comes from showing the not-so-qualified customer. The readout is concise - communicates quickly. If you're inspecting a job site, or old work, and need want to SHOW the customer the problem, the LCD display certainly helps.

Would Not RecommendSomething wrong with this testers. A month in and it only works half the time. It is a dangerous tester that has the potential to kill you ! Do not Buy!!
