Ratings & Reviews for Klein Tools Quad-4 Heavy-Duty Impact Flip Socket, SAE

All in one convenience

This tool is excellent for having several sizes combined. Typically the sizes are associated with use conventions for the bolt head size and the nut. Makes jobs much easier.

Outstanding tool and quality!

Will be returning because it’s not what I thought. I thought it was two different chucks of sockets not one long one so it isn’t practical for what I needed it for but seems like a good idea and good quailty

Works great

This is a 8-1 impact sockets. It sounds very simple and they tried to make it as such. It has a long 1/4 hex holder for the socket along with 2 different set. The design is that both sockets has both sides and each sides can accomodate 2 sizes but having the bolt head or the nut to push the smaller insert inside to accomodate the 2nd size so you pretty much dont feel the difference except for a bit of force against a spring. I do not have to bring a set in case your project needs portability. I...

Absolute Time Saver – Must Have for Any Tech

I use this set daily as an RV technician, and it’s easily one of the best tools I’ve added to my setup. The flip socket design saves a ton of time—no more constantly swapping sockets when you’re bouncing between sizes. Everything you need is right there. The deep-well design is perfect for long studs, especially on awnings, slide components, and general RV hardware. Build quality is solid—these can take real abuse on an impact without any issues. The color coding also makes it quick to grab the ...

Quad socket space saver

it puts 4 sockets into one and saves space without diminishing the ability to use the tool

Quad‑4 Heavy‑Duty Impact Flip Socket, SAE

The Quad‑4 Heavy‑Duty Impact Flip Socket (SAE) is one of those rare tools that immediately earns a permanent spot in the bag. Klein Tools designed this socket to combine four of the most commonly used SAE hex sizes into a single, compact, color‑coded flip socket, and it absolutely delivers on convenience and durability.

This thing is maddening

The way this works is a lot neater than the package leads you to believe. So I really, really wanted to like this. Unfortunately I'm so fed up with it I'm about to toss it through a window. I primarily only need to deal with 1/4" and so that means I'm trying to use the inner/smaller of the two sizes on one end. Often times the thing must slip off the nut somehow and the whole thing just spins. You have to get the pressure JUST RIGHT. Last night I was in cramped quarters in an attic and...
