This KitchenAid range hood lasted ONE WEEK. Seven days. That’s it. It started rattling, then completely failed. Brand-new appliance. Brand-new installation. Immediate failure. KitchenAid sent out a technician who inspected it and said he would recommend a full replacement. That should have been the end of it. It is nice looking, EASY to see the controls (vs. the under the hood versions) and the light is really bright and helpful while cooking. Would purchase this model again!!!!

Great product, but very difficult to install

They do not include a template for the mounting screws which it makes it extremely difficult to get them in the right location.

Worth the money

I love that the vents are somewhat covered making it easier to keep clean. The lights are fantastic though I’m not so sure they are going to be easy to replace when needed. It’s a fairly tall hood so make sure you have the space. Overall, I really love it and glad I purchased it.

Quiet & Designed to shine down; not in one's eyes

Very Quiet Range Hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of the range hood, but the nicest feature of the hood is the fan has several speeds and they are quiet. There are two lights and they are both bright. The only drawback is my contractor said dig was one of the hardest installs he’d ever done, but once in, it looks and works great.
