Quiet dishwasher

This DW is really quiet which is a big improvement over our last one. Loading is a challenge. It seems some of the spacing for dishes in the lower rack could be closer together. Overall, we like it.

Be wary of the control panel (or other QC issues)

BLUF: The dishwasher is quiet and effective, when it works. However the control panel (touchpad on the front) failed after 18 months. This is an expensive repair (approx. $250 if you do it yourself), and it's only warrantied for 1 year. Detail: I own the previous model KDFE204KPS. The control panel stopped responding to any input. nice dishwasher but they sent me the wrong door

We ordered the dishwasher at the store to make sure it was all done correctly. I very specifically discussed with the employee that I wanted the door without the handle. He confirmed this. We were installing it ourselves so did not open the box when the delivery people dropped it off. When we did we got the door with the handle. Didn't last 6 months

At first my only complaint was that it takes forever to wash but at least it was very quiet. I did like that it was quiet. Now it has stopped working and Kitchen Aid has been no help getting it repaired. Lowes won't take it back and Kitchen Aid won't send someone out to fix it. Beware! Do not buy this unit!

Good Dishwasher so far

Bought this to replace a 10 year old Kitchen Aid dishwasher. Hoping this unit lasts just as long as the old one. This unit does have a longer run time than my old one - only negative so far. I installed myself really not too hard for DIY. This unit does dry very well. Overall happy with the purchase - wish I was able to wait until it was on sale though

Lowes Failed

Delivery personnel did not unbox the product to inspect for damage as stated in Lowe’s Delivery Policy. After unboxing the product I found a massive dent in the dishwasher affecting both exterior and interior of the product. After a chat with a very nice chat agent, I have an exchange coming tomorrow. Very quite, looks great does a fantastic job cleaning

Extremely quiet, good capacity, all dishes were dry at end of cycle.

Dishwasher

Lowes had what I was looking for, this matches my other dishwasher. Excellent and has the 3rd rack that my other one did not have.

Had high hopes.

I really wanted to like this dishwasher. It cleans very well and drys well. The automatic door opening feature at the end of the cycle is nice. But the noise is not something I expected. There’s a loud humming noise during the entire wash cycle. We’ve had a tech out who replaced the entire motor on the 1-month old unit and it did not reduce the noise. It’s a great dishwasher, but I don’t feel like it’s as quiet as others have stated. For that, I’m disappointed with the unit.
