Good for remote power needs

I have had this about a year and it works good. I've only used the solar panels to charge. From full discharge to full charge without being used takes about 2 days. I've powered gazebo lights and a 42" tv with it together for a couple hours (didn't even go down to 60%) and a barn fan in my chicken coop. The fan will not stay running overnight, but does cool things off. I've also powered a car battery charger and the 2 amp charge will go all night. If I was purchasing again I probably would...

Good and bad

I bought my 550 in April of 2024. I wanted to give it a year of service before I gave my review. My wife and I have a small cabin in the woods and I bought this so I could have some electricity for lights, recharge my phone, recharge a vacuum, and run my wife's cpap machine. LIKES 1. I am sold on the concept.

500 watt runs nothing I need. Returned it and will most likely buy the 1000 next month. If they eliminate a few in the lower range maybe they can bring the price of the 1000+ down. Offer energy grants to low income for storm prepare. Also a great way to conserve natural resources of water used for electricity.

love my explorer 1500

Performed beyond my expectations, so I bought a second one. For quicker charging I purchased additional solar panels. Got me through hurricane Helene so well I forgot the electric was out, lol. Powered my lights, microwave, countertop ice maker, television, Keurig, toaster oven, room air conditioner all without a serious depletion of the generator. Due to the additional panels, sold separately, recharge was quick and easy even on cloudy days. Pass through charging capabilities was nice too....

2 years and the input plugs have shorts

Bought the protection plan and 2 years later almost exactly the input ports have shorts and melted the conecting ends for the charging cords. Never got solar to work probably because of the shorts. Never got their version of the battery charging cables to work to keep my car battery from dying. New ones come with a 5 year warranty probably because of this exact complaint. Costly mechanical failure!

Power

I have been watching this Jackery for about 6 months now. So I finally decided to buy it. I have used it so far for keeping my battery operating lawn equipment powered where there are no feasible power outlets. I'm impressed to get 3 recharges on fully charged Jackery 550. I'm glad that I bought it. I haven't had the chance to use the Solar Panel yet, but I expect the same results.

Great Solar Generator

This is second generator I purchased. I like the solar panels from my first buy better because it has bags for cable storage attached to it. Unfortunately, are they missing on my second purchase and there is no room in the bag which was included to store those, bummer! Solar panels on my second order are different. Is there a way to get another bag for cable storage?

Lowes if you are going to sell something, then support the sale. I bought this from you. You should be following up with Jackery to find out where the solar panels are not dumping that on me. If your supplier can't provide the product, then stop advertising it for sale.
