Don’t buy.

Returned it. When the swivel is “locked” or tightened, the vice still moves. Not a very useful vice if it has enough play to move about 1/4 inch back and forth when everything is tightened.

Works well, with 1 exception.

Vise is ok, but the swivel lock doesn’t tightly hold the base from slightly moving regardless of how firmly it’s locked.

Made with weak pin that keeps it from rotating.

I opened the box and secured it to my work table, hoping the bolts I used would be strong enough. They were, but the vise wasn’t! The first time I used it, I was about to sharpen my lawnmower blades and had put the first one in the vise. It is a light duty vice with pipe jaws

Jaws broke

I was changing a chuck on my drill and the vise quit tightening. The outer jaw just broke off showing all the black cast material underneath. No receipt so no luck on warranty.

Perfect for Hinge Straightening Home Project

Good size and weight for the work bench in my garage work room. I needed to customize 2 cabinet hinges to fit a built in hamper. I put the 90 degree bends of the hinges in the vise and tightened, loosened, and repositioned them 3-4 times to flatten the bends. Worked perfectly! I didn’t even have to anchor the vise to the bench. The jaws snug up tight and have good alignment. Note there is a protection oil like coating which you may want to wipe off or wash hands after using vise.

This device appears to have all the functions I need. The quality is not top notch, but is still very good. Considering the price, I would buy it again if I needed another one.
