Good clamps

Will make a nice addition to the clamps that I have. Solid and easy to assemble.

Holds good, but...

Bought this because I needed another long clamp. It assembles easily and holds well so far, but this is the only clamp I own without rubber pads over the Jaws. I was not expecting it as I had never seen any clamps for sale without jaw covers and did not notice it until I got home and cut the packaging open. :( Now, if I don't want indentations in my work, I have to add scraps of wood or felt pads of my own. In my opinion it was the wrong place to cut costs.

Good product for the price, but would liked to have the end stop of the clamps a little longer. They tend to flex out, under pressure.

Irwin Pipe Clamps

Grabbed these with some 1//2" pipe from Lowe's and everything slipped in to place perfectly. I didn't realize I didn't need threaded pipe but that's what the store had and it works fine. Ready for some glue ups and to get some projects under way.

Just what I needed

I needed to add to my arsenal of clamps in my shop. Just getting everything gathered being a new hobby I have needed to try and save a bit of money on the front end. I needed some long clamps for an end table that I was working on and these fit the bill for the price and the length that I could achieve. having the small legs on the back side of this allowed for a nice surface between a pair of these to clamp together on my work table to get the legs and the stretchers assembled. Pipe clamps

Great product

Good alternative

We were going to buy the larger more expensive full clamp and this was recommended for pur needs. We ended up getting 2 clamps instead of 1 and spend half what we would have on the 1 full clamp. Very worth it!

Terrible.

Bought 2 sets, being that they are not screwed in, they do not fasten things correctly due to loose hardware. Stick with the ones with threaded parts

Different design

I have multiple sets of bar clamps, some on 3/4" pipe, some on 1/2". When I purchased these I thought they would be the same as the rest of mine, one end is threaded and the other slides on. These are not that way, you do not need to have a threaded end to use these clamps. Good if you have a long piece of pipe and want to cut it multiple times for more than one set of clamps. I simply prefer one end to be threaded. Overall no big deal just my 2 cents.

Projects

I have multiple sets of these they work great. The only problem I have is that the face are not always smooth of the four set pictured not one set is completely smooth. If I forget to add a shim I'll get a dimple or a rough spot. The other 2 bought while not near a Lowe's harbor freight and true value are both smooth. Over all they hold and slide with ease
