Haven’t been able to connect to our phone

So far so good. We have a lot of dog hair & it seems to do well! Also very quiet.

Stronger but noisy.

It does a better job on carpets and the floor, so everywhere, than my last robotic vacuum (of another brand) - BUT, it is considerably louder than my other vacuum. Had I not gotten such a good sale price I would not have considered it but I think they might be retiring this model.

the app is horrible I wish it came with its own remote control.the app tells you to update it but most likely it won't update

Not thrilled with this model

I purchased this model when I moved into my new house and was thrilled to start using it because I have multiple cats and thought it would help keep the hair and littler under control. However, I have found that I spend more time attending to it because it keeps getting stuck under things or is constantly bumping into things. It also misses areas and will clean in the same area over and over again. I guess I should have gone for the more expensive one that maps.

Never buy!

Bought for supplemental cleaning. Used less than 38 hours in 1 1/2 years and battery died. Replacement cost for battery approximately $100. Robot very expensive and replacing battery that often becomes even more expensive. Takes more time to reposition furniture than vacuuming manually. Would never buy this product. Waste of time and money. Customer service in Dominican Republic.

Not as good as previous models

I've had Roombas for 10+ years and always loved them 'till this one. The rubber rollers this one has instead of brushes are awful. They pick up even the heaviest rugs. If it's not permanently installed carpet, forget it. I've always been able to run Roomba over heavier, rubber-backed rugs, as long as there was no fringe. This thing picks up the corner of every rug. So I have to pick up all of my rugs before I run it, and vacuum the rugs manually. REALLY not a time-saver.

Makes my floors happy!

I though my husband was nuts when he bought it (price), now I can't live without it! I have used my roomba in 2 different houses (moved). Works well on carpet/hardwood/tile multi surface floors. Tends to get stuck in the kitchen under appliances (15% of the time), but TRULY was a great investment. Does a good job and keeps the hardwood floors significantly cleaner and polished looking. Save your money

Rarely makes it back to charge. Usually have to hunt it down and carry it back. Gets stuck in the middle of a room when nothing is there. I have had this and other Roombas for over a year and have found them to be very unreliable. I wish there was one that did what it said it will do.

So surprised it cleans the corners and edges so well. Long running Short recharging Better job than my husband. My new best friend.

I LOVE my Roomba! I have 2 dogs and it is able to find all the dog hairs and allow me to walk barefooted in my house!

Its destroying my expensive area rugs!

This is my third model, I wouldn't live without one! But the 890 model is terrible, it has trouble connecting to the charging base, it runs for a short period of time (even after a good cleaning and with a newer battery) and the worse part is that it is tearing up my berber and wood rugs. My older model never did this on these same area rugs. I literally have to roll them up before running the iRobot, such a hassle!

Blankets are this things worst nightmare

Over all this thing cleans pet hair like a champ. My floors are clean all the time now. I only need to go over it about once a week with the big vacuum. But this things draw back is it's kinda helpless if it sucks up something bigger than a cotton ball or runs into a blanket hanging off the couch. Other than that though, it's amazing.

works better than the previous model I had with the different brushes. It is nice that the pet hair does not have to be cleaned off between runs. Good overall but fills up quickly with my dogs and their shedding.

Roomba 890 review

The rumba 890 is a spectacular vacuum. It does a good job and worked over an hour before it needs to go back to be recharged. The only flaw that I can find is that it is a little bit noisy.
