Would RecommendOrdering and scheduling was painless (except of course having to pay the credit card when it was due). My 4 stars is for the messy installer. I thought they would take the old unit away and clean up after themselves. Not the case.

I bought a badger 5 1/2hp 12 years ago in april 2014 and it just now went out amazing lasted this long . Great products are those that out last their expiration dates. Thanks mary h

Good product for light to normal residential use
Would RecommendIt's a residential garbage disposal, so fairly simple to understand and use. This replaces a Badger that was about 7 years old and that I damaged and had to be replaced - user caused, not a product defect or failure. This newer one, same model, seems quieter but otherwise works as anticipated. At $120, the price/value is reasonable. Installation took a licensed plumber about 20 minutes.

Would Not RecommendAfter three years leaking from the bottom reset button. Bearings and seal worn out as well. Piece of junk.

Not long enough lasting
Would Not RecommendBought this about 4-5 years ago(not really sure about the exact time frame). Rusted through the bottom, which is the same as what was replaced before. Though, I'm not entirely certain it's not due to the corrosiveness of our water where we live. Either way, I would expect longer life from this product.
