What Customers Are Saying
The product is a compact and affordable steel fish tape that can navigate tight spaces, but some customers experienced issues with durability and ease of use, such as difficulty rewinding the tape and it becoming stuck or tangled after repeated use. While suitable for basic, occasional wire-fishing tasks, it may not be suitable for more frequent or demanding applications.

Would Not RecommendI have used different Fish tapes in past and had another Ideal fish tape for years and no issues but was too big and bulky so i bought a 50ft. But it will not wind back just after 2 uses and past my return date. Had better expectations than this from Ideal.
25Ft Fish Tape
Would RecommendI came into Lowes looking for fish tape and lo and behold this was sitting on the clearance rack for $5 and some change. For something this small and barely used great find.
Good quality
Would RecommendNice for working in tight areas
Did the job, wish it coiled back in all the way
Would RecommendGood snake for running wire. Gets a little hard to put back, tightens up, but good for the money.
Handy!
Would RecommendThis is a great fish tape for small pulls and is perfectly sized to pack inside a backpack or medium sized tool bag. It is tough and definitely performs well.
Will use for running cable wires
Would RecommendHaven't used yet
You get what you pay for.
Would Not RecommendThis thing is a pain to wind and unwind, but I can tolerate that. The deal breaker is that the hook unfolds easily and gets stuck. Mine is now a permanent feature of my attic.

Compact size is great
Would RecommendI already owned the 100+ foot which work just as it should. This one is great for most jobs and so much easier to carry in a tool bag

Worked well
Worked as expected to fish wires 8ft through wall. Reasonable price.
Sent the wrong Item again
Would Not RecommendI was sent the 25' fish tape instead of the 50. Now I have to take it to the store and fight with them to get my money back and get the right one.
