Would RecommendInserting the wires all the way in is a bit tougher than I expected. Be sure to check the allowed gauge on the packaging to choose the right size. I recommend sizing up so that the connector you pick supports the gauge you require as a smaller gauge. (If connector size range is 20-12 gauge, I wouldn’t use it for 12. Size up if you can.)

Don't waste your money
Would Not RecommendI attempted to use these with stranded wires, but no matter how many times I tried, and how much I twisted the strands first, I could not get the wires to seat inside the connectors. I purchased WAGO 221 connectors instead, and they were amazing. I'll be returning these crappy connectors.
Just used some of these on an outlet. They are amazing! Much more user friendly for the homeowner than wirenuts. Only used them on solid wire, haven't tried stranded yet.
