They will refuse to exchange it because they say it was purchased from a third party. No, it was ordered online as "in stock" but drop shipped from the manufacturer, the second party. They state I have to return the fan and reorder it. I'm not stupid enough to reorder from Lowe's - I can get it the same price directly from the manufacturer without all this ineptitude. ...

Would RecommendI have previously purchased Hunter ceiling fans, so I knew exactly what brand I would choose when my Hunter fan finally gave out after 20 years. The fan is not only pleasing to the eye, but also offers Hunter’s advertised quiet nature when powered on (even to its highest setting). I greatly recommend if you are wanting a fan that is pleasing to the eye and is built to last.

I ordered Brazilian Cherry, and would have liked a lighter colored fan blade. The blades were either too dark, or too light. The fan is very nice overall though!
