Moves some air!

Great fan. Fairly lightweight and moves allot of air. Easy to install. Works great with the remote. Chose not to use the wall control module. Just an off on switch.

Easy installation, powerful

The bags have geometrical shapes rather than numbers or alphabets, which was something new to me. Wiring the fan and the wall outlet was super easy. It is quiet and not noisy at all even at the highest speed. We decided to install this inside rather than outdoors. Initially I was to receive a 60 inch but instead I was sent a 72 inch which wouldn't work in the selected outdoor space. ...

It comes with everything needed to install and the user manual is easy to understand. This fan is exactly as described and I think that it would look great outdoors or indoors! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hunter Overton outdoor energy star fan is great. Easy to install. Ten 72 inch blades put off so much air. The wall remote is easy to use for the light and fan it also has a dimmer on light. It is also sleek and beautiful. We put it in our garage and are in love with it can't wait to get more fans from this brand . Definitely recommend.

Great looking fan

I like how this fan has a wall control so my kids don’t have a remote to loose. I like it has screw in led bulbs. I like how it doesn’t has a controller in the overcrowded canopy.

Hunter fan motors have been slowed down from earlier models

The controller is a major problem.

The controller is a problem. After 1 year and changing it twice, it still does not work properly. We have to press the light button 3-5 to turn the light on or off. Each controller has had this issue. A controller should not be mounted in an electrical box when it needs to be accessed to change batteries. Only qualified electricians should be accessing outlet boxes. Repeated access will damage the switch box leading to a costly repair, and switch boxes shouldn't have to be accessed to change bat...

Just we wanted and happy so far.

Moves a lot of air in our very large bedroom. Seems to have about five speeds. We only use it on low at night. Very very quiet. Not too keen about the wall mount switch arrangement. Would have preferred to have a separate wall switch capability so that I could just turn the light on without having to sort through the small little buttons. Have not purchased the remote control yet which is an option.

How to Recycle

My first Hunter fan lasted 30 years. Replaced it with the Overton. Love it. My neighbor helped me with the installation, he is now the proud owner of the older model.
