Would RecommendReplaced old switch cover with this new one . But when I tried to snug the screws it would turn off the switch . This has never happened before with the hundreds I’ve repaired before. So I had to leave the screws semi tight .

Didn't turn the toggle switch all the way on.
Would Not RecommendI used this for a toggle switch outside, it did not properly turn the switch all the way on. So the device that was being powered kept cycling on and off. Once I removed this cover plate, the device worked perfectly.
