Would RecommendHighly effective! Our pump was down for 48 hours and the alge crept in. We tried the algecide we had with no luck. We got this - basicially - because it was the only thing available at the time. However! What a life saver. It cleared everything up quickly. Word to the wise, don't use more than instructed. We used a whole bottle and we've had bubbles for weeks. It has not effect anyone, so that is good! But the pool was super blue within a day!

I bought this a few weeks ago and so glad I did. It is a pool chemical and after just a few times using it my pool was just about ready for the upcoming labor day weekend and all that goes along with that. A young man helped me select the item and was able to recommend the proper amount to use after (we together) determined how much water was in the pool.

Foaming and cloudy water after use
Would Not RecommendAlgae Guard Advanced is causing excessive foaming and has created a cloudy problem in the water. have used are the recommended dose. Is there a solution for the cloudiness. Clarifier, flocculent and proper choline level is not correcting the problem.

Would RecommendI recently had an algae bloom after leaving the cover on the pool for 4 days when it got very hot outdoors. I think it was mustard algae as my typical chlorine shocking was not very effective. I applied this algicide and within 24 hours the pool was useable. After 48 hours and the water was crystal clear. This is a great tool to keep in the pool treatment bag of tricks.
