Horrible

These are absolutely the worst test strips I have ever bought. They are always different. I can take them two minutes apart and they’re different. They don’t record well on your app. Your app sucks and is horrible and I will never buy these ever again.

Testing, Testing....

I like these. The last two times I bought the Clorox ones, they were not usable after a short time. Even tho I screwed the cap on tight, moisture must have gotten in them. This cap is different and so far so good. They were a couple dollars more, but so far--worth it.

Not 6 way!!

So I bought this without reading the fine print. Seeing 6 way I figured there were 6 levels to test. There's only 5. Why is it called a 6 way test? Conveniently the color chart was hidden on the bottle in the package. It doesn't test for total chlorine like the online details say. It only tests for the free chlorine. Reliable strips, beware the digital reader app

We have consistently had problematic readings with other brands of test strips. HTH has proven to be accurate with repeated testing and with more sophisticated testing processes by our local pool chemical supply company. One thing to note is that the digital reading application integrated with this product appears to read colors darker than they actually appear on the strip.

Don’t buy. Order Clorox test strips online.

This product is not anywhere as good as the Clorox strips Lowes used to carry. The indication pads are so faint that it’s hard to tell what reading it’s giving

Inaccurate

Purchased 2 months ago. The free chlorine indicator repeatedly keeps reading at a color of white. First time this happened I took water sample to local pool supply company for analysis and was told my free chlorine was a bit high. These strips are supposed to be an indictor of which chemicals to add to keep pool water balanced. If I had followed the color on the test strip it would have really unbalanced my pool water. I liked the old blue kit better

The colors on the strips are not as good as the original blue packaging. I find that the pads on the strips are not uniform in color therefore it's very difficult to read the strips. I will have to try a different company Because these are no good

Inconsistent

I’ve been having a hard time getting the cloudiness out of the pool and these faulty test strips were the culprit. Confirmed it today when I did one test strip and texted it and then did another one an hour later without making any chemical changes. The results and recommendations they gave were completely different. Now I’ve wasted tons of money on products and my water is still cloudy.

Cannot get it to work

I have took the picture and texted it to the number. They sent it back needing the size and amount of water so I sent that information. I kept on getting the same reply. So I took the pic and sent all information along with it and keep getting the same response. I must be doing something wrong but have been following the instructions

Always get can not read

I feel I have wasted my money on these. The clorox test strips work better I have wasted six strips and $11.00 on this product

Easy to read and use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got these test strips and we use them in our hot tub and in our pool. The test strips are very easy to use and read. Just dunk in water and line test strip up with diagram on the bottle. If needed add your chemicals and retest with a different strip each time.

No text response - "Not Delivered"

The whole reason I purchased this test kit was so that I could text a photo of my test strips to confirm whether or not I was interpreting them correctly. Every time I've tried (with my iPhone) since this past spring, I only get a "Not delivered" response. I tried reaching out to HTH on Twitter, but didn't receive a response there, either.
