Short life span

I purchased this refrigerator 02/24. On 09/5 it completely stopped working, no warning, no noises. The light still works so I know its not the electric. So sad products don't last anymore.

Literally lasted 2 yrs. Now bottom fridge has no cooling effect. Freezer still ok..

Been good so far, perfect size!

Had it about a year now. It's doing great so far. It's the perfect size for me! Has two shelves and a pull out tub in the bottom. The tub on the bottom has humidity vents to keep veggies fresh. The 2 shelves are adjustable. Freezer is pretty good size for a small refrigerator. Perfect for the single man, couple, or dorm room.

STOPPED WORKING PROPERLY AFTER 18 MONTHS

not worthy this brand I was expecting it lasting longer but doesn't work properly no more after 18 months.

Only lasted 15 months

As other reviewers have reported the temperature inside the refrigerator would not stay below 40 degrees no matter what cold setting was used so milk and food started to spoil. Problem arose after owning the fridge for only 15 months, but manufacturer warranty expired after a year.

Trying to return it

It constantly froze items in the fridge and the freezer was often wet with condensation. I couldn't keep ice cream in the freezer while having to chisel the bacon. Now, the fridge is sitting between 40 & 50 on the coldest setting and the freezer rattles. I had to put a thermometer in there when the milk spoiled. I've got to throw everything away, I haven't even had it for a year and apparently I can't return it because Lowe's (wisely) doesn't carry this anymore. Do not buy unless it's for a porc...

Garbage

We bought this refrigerator for our cabin. Not long after we bought it, we lost all the food in the freezer and the refrigerator because at some point it quit cooling. It was frustrating enough to happen once, but now it’s happened twice. We keep the freezer full of ribeyes and ground beef we purchase from a local farmer, so it’s very upsetting to lose it twice. Horrible temp control

Temp swings like crazy from 31 to 47 in the fridge within 12 hours. Freezes your food and is too warm. Freezer is too warm too.

Great refrigerator

can not get parts

door gasket is ruined need new one but low and behold the fridge is no longer made and parts are nowhere to be found

Freezer died after 1 year

Just 15 months after purchase the freezer has quit functioning and of course this was the one large purchase that I elected not to purchase an extended warranty

Value for money

Great counter depth narrow fridge at a great price.

Substandard

The magnetic door seal will not consistently hold the door closed. We have a like unit, Haier, with the same problem. Had I not been remiss in researching this item I would not have purchased it. Although branded Hotpoint it is manufactured by Haier and their quality is suspect at best. This is based both on personal experience and consumer research articles on the web.
