Screw is fine. It is brass so you have to predrill to avoid stripping the head. I have used about 1/2 the package and no issues

I buy these screws every year to assemble a wooden sleigh for Christmas. I use the brass screws because they show brightly on the Hunter Green paint of the sleigh. Why do I buy them every year, because where ever I put them when I disassemble the sleigh, I cannot find them foir the next season.

Would Not RecommendDon't use these for anything except decorative use. It broke off when being screwed by hand into wood, in a pre-drilled hole.

Would RecommendWe’re using these at the recommendation of Shelly for birdhouses my grandsons are making and they are working so much better than nails. Pre-drilling pilot holes has eliminated splitting in the cedar. Thanks again Shelly, you’re a l lifesaver!

Would Not RecommendI purchased these for a DIY chest of drawers cabinet hinges they cost me four hours because any tension on them the heads snapped off. 10.00 dollars down the drain. I ended up using steel screws. They don't like pretty but the aggravation is real.
