Bought 8 of these to fasten four 4x4 cleats to a hardwood floor as anchors for a kitchen island, so these need to be strong and stay secure indefinitely. I planned to install with a torque wrench to 7 ft-lbs. I tested these first on some scrap pieces. Sadly, the result was grossly substandard: the first two screws snapped at less than 10 ft-lbs., which is not a decent safety margin. Weak Material that shears when driving.

I purchased these items to secure some items to the ceiling of my garage. I located the rafters and predrilled them to accept the screws. I first tried using an impact driver and I was shearing off every other screw. Then I moved to a drill and set to the slower speed and the screws still sheared off. Don't waste your money on these.
