What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this plumber's tape for its superior sealing performance, with most highlighting its thicker formulation that delivers exceptional leak-free seals on pipe threads in gas, water, and air applications. Reviewers consistently note it outperforms standard Teflon tape, especially under pressure, and credit the increased thickness for creating durable connections. Many commend its ease of use—it tears cleanly, wraps smoothly without unraveling, and requires fewer applications than standard options. Customers describe it as professional-grade and durable, agreeing the higher cost is justified by performance. A few mention it may be too thick for certain applications, but overall, most consider it the best thread tape available.

Would RecommendProduct works as it should. No leaks. I would buy again.
Megatape - good stuff!!
Bought this a month ago and the sealing and adhesion is great. Would recommend this product.
Worked great on a dark shower set to not stand out like white would.
The real deal plumbers tape
Super easy to use. It adhered really well to the pipe threads. I have always chosen the cheapest option and realized small leaks reoccurring over time. Great flexibility, but not the easiest to tear. Best to cut with scissors as its thickness. Great stuff and highly recommend.
Teflon tape
Used it when we replaced our dryer a few months ago and so far so good. Would purchase again.
Good tape
It works as intended
